Project Statud: Competition entry
Date: 2008
The design aims to create a continuum between architectural languages of past, present and future reflecting contemporary urban European environments. The aesthetic and rhythmic composition of the design borrows its motives from the historical styles of gothic and baroque, and yet the design is executed through the notion of flexibility and fluidity of both form and space reflecting the diversity of contemporary culture. The highly articulated wall acts as an interface between inside and outside, transmitting architecture through engaging. The curious exterior draws attention of the people and provides glimpse of inside views through the small holes that encourage public to interact with the info point more and participate in the event.
